Counselling by a fully trained and professional therapist team. For those in recovery from mental illness or addiction it is beneficial to learn why this first occurred, or what pain we were trying to cover up with alcohol, addiction to work or even drugs. We create a very safe, confidential environment where you can be open and share your personal stories in a non-judgemental atmosphere. We firmly believe that having our story validated goes a long way to promoting wellness and recovery.
FACILITATOR: LEANNE MCALARNEY
Hypnosis is all about changing our conscious awareness. Our brain wave activity fluctuates all the time, particularly as we enter the different phases of when we go to sleep. During hypnosis the client is guided into relaxation and mental imagery that encourages them to into a trance state which causes a natural shift in their brainwave pattern. This means that they might shift from being in a fully alert mental state (like when we are hectic and busy working during the day- as shown by beta brainwave activity) into other states.

Child psychotherapists have a specialist training in working with children, adolescents and parents as the issues that arise and the ways that children communicate are very age specific ie. Younger children are unlikely to be able to talk easily about the things that are upsetting them and child psychotherapists are carefully trained in observation to notice and think about the child's play and what it is communicating about them and what is on their mind.
Reflexology is a natural complementary therapy which can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and well-being. Reflexology rests on the ancient Chinese belief in Qi or “vital energy”. According to this belief qi flows through each person and when a person is ill or feels stressed their body blocks the qi flow.
