“I have a husband, four grown up children and a degree in therapeutic counselling. As a person-centred therapist, I give you space and a safe, confidential environment in which to work through issues that life events have caused. Over 15 years I have helped clients of all ages and backgrounds to work through addictions, abuse, bereavement, PTSD, low self-esteem and more. Having come through some tough times in myself, I understand the struggle that we all experience trying to come to terms with the things life can throw at us. GARDENING & HORTICULTURE
"I decided to initiate Portadown Wellness Centre following my own experience of having mental ill health.
It is my belief that most mental ill health is caused by a trauma or a stress in a persons life. So, to find lasting wellness, we must address these in a safe, confidential environment with a professional counsellor.
Through the experience many of us become isolated, losing self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we offer practical, therapeutic activities and classes to boost self-belief and confidence and creates an ambience to meet new, supportive caring friends."
